The equipment pad
Equipment Maintenance
Regular inspection and servicing of your pumps, filters and heaters, so issues are caught early and costly repairs stay off the calendar.
The quiet failures
Pool equipment rarely fails all at once. A filter gauge creeps higher week by week. A pump starts to hum, or runs hotter than it did last month. There is a little air in the pump lid, a union weeping at the joint, a heater that lights and then shuts off again after a few minutes.
Every one of those is cheap to deal with early and expensive to deal with late. A dried-out lid o-ring is a small part. A pump that has been pulling air for a whole Dallas summer is a burned-out motor.

What an inspection covers
The pump comes first: basket, lid o-ring, shaft seal, and the sound it makes while running. Then the filter, where the pressure reading tells the story, and the cleaning or backwash is done the way that filter type calls for. Then the heater, checking ignition and flow, and finally the valves and plumbing on the pad.
This is regular inspection and servicing of pumps, filters and heaters, the work Dallas Pool Service & Repair describes under equipment maintenance. It sits naturally beside the weekly route through Plano, Allen, Frisco and McKinney, since the pad gets looked at on visits the pool is already getting.
Why it pays to catch things early
Catching issues early is how a pool owner avoids costly repairs. A clean filter and steady flow also make the water easier to hold in balance, because the sanitizer actually reaches every corner of the pool. When something does need more than servicing, the next step is equipment repair and replacement.
