Equipment Repair & Replacement
Pumps, filters and heaters, from minor fixes to major overhauls, diagnosed on the pad and repaired or replaced as the equipment calls for.
Signs the equipment needs a repair
A pump that will not prime is the classic call. So is a screech from the motor end, which usually means bearings, or water dripping from the seal or the lid. On the filter side, a pressure reading that will not come back down after cleaning points to a problem inside the tank. On the heater side, it is the unit that will not light or keeps tripping off.
None of these are a reason to panic, and none of them fix themselves. Run the pool through a Dallas heat wave on a struggling pump and the damage spreads from one part to the whole motor.

Repair first, replace when it makes sense
The work starts on the pad with a diagnosis. Often the honest fix is a part: an o-ring, a shaft seal, a basket, a pressure gauge. Replacing that part gets the system running again without buying a whole unit.
When the damage goes past that, the job moves up the scale, from a minor fix to a major overhaul or a full replacement of the pump, filter or heater. Dallas Pool Service & Repair handles the full range for pools in Plano, Allen, Frisco, McKinney and Dallas, and the quote for it is free.
After the fix, the equipment stays watched
Once the repair is done, the system is restarted and checked: flow, pressure, and every joint and fitting for leaks. Nothing is called finished until the pump is primed and the gauge settles where it should.
From there the equipment folds into the regular check, which is why many owners pair this with equipment maintenance or the weekly cleaning route. To talk through a failing pump, filter or heater, call (214) 850-3818 or reach out through the contact page.
