Every week
Weekly Pool Cleaning
Skimming, vacuuming, brushing the walls, debris removal, filter maintenance and an equipment check, so the pool stays swim-ready and algae never gets a start.
What goes wrong between visits
A North Texas pool collects trouble fast. Live oak leaves, crepe myrtle blooms and spring pollen land on the surface, soak through, and sink to the floor, where they stain plaster and feed algae. In a Plano or Frisco backyard with mature trees, a few days is enough for the skimmer basket to load up.
The usual culprits are the dead spots. Behind a ladder, under a bench, in the corner of a step, circulation is weak, so algae starts there first and spreads outward. A pump basket packed with debris starves the whole system of flow, and weak flow means every other problem gets worse.

The weekly visit, in order
Each visit follows the same sequence so nothing gets skipped. Skim the surface. Empty the skimmer and pump baskets. Brush the walls, the tile line and the steps, working toward the main drain so the loosened debris travels where the filter can catch it. Vacuum the floor. Remove whatever debris is left.
Then the part that keeps repairs small: filter maintenance and an equipment check. Watch the pressure gauge, look for weeping fittings, listen to the pump. Dallas Pool Service & Repair does this on the five-city route through Dallas, Plano, Allen, Frisco and McKinney, with eco-friendly products and practices.
Why weekly beats waiting until it looks bad
Algae and scale start before you can see them. By the time the water has a green tint, the brushing and treatment needed is far larger than a routine pass would have been. A weekly brush and check keeps small problems small, and keeps the pool swim-ready through a Dallas summer.
